Now Accepting Submissions for SMA 2022

I hope this email finds you well! While the fond memories of our Second Line Parade at SMA 2021 in New Orleans are still fresh in our minds, it’s time to start planning for the Southern Management Association (SMA) 2022 Annual Meeting!

Thus, I am writing to invite you to submit a paper, symposium, and/or a Professional Development Institute (PDI) proposal for consideration in the SMA 2022 program. The SMA 2022 meeting will take place October 18 - 22, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Little Rock Marriott. Although Little Rock is a new location for SMA, I promise you will be blown away by the city’s big charm. What’s more, we’re confident that you’ll experience the meaningful knowledge exchanges, fellowship, and networking experiences that make the SMA conference special.

How Can You Be Involved?

1. SUBMIT: The quality of our program is directly dependent on your active engagement! We need you to submit your manuscripts, symposia, and PDI. The deadline for submissions is April 25th, 2022. 
2. REVIEW: Regardless of whether you have something to submit this year, we also need you to volunteer to review! We will limit the number of papers each reviewer receives to no more than three papers per track, but need a large reviewer pool to ensure this can happen. Please note that if you are a submitting author, you will be expected to serve as a reviewer. Doing so is one small way to repay the generosity of the volunteers who will review your work. Plus, SMA recognizes our best reviewers with a number of awards that look great on CVs!

If you submitted or reviewed last year, you already have a profile created in the system. In this case, your same username and password can be used to log into the 2022 Conference Portal. If any of your information has changed, please update it at this time.
