SMA Consortia Homepage

The Southern Management Association is proud to offer the following Consortia as part of its Annual Meeting (see https://smgmt.org/annual-meeting/), which will take place from October 21 to October 25, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, SC.

  1. Pre-Doctoral Student Consortium
  2. Early Stage Doctoral Student Consortium
  3. Late Stage Doctoral Student Consortium
  4. Faculty Consortium
  5. Administrator Consortium 

Each consortium will be held from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Topics vary, but all consortia are day-long programs designed to provide a better understanding of key factors underlying faculty success in research, teaching, and service.  Programs will feature nationally recognized scholars and provide excellent opportunities for networking and collaboration.  

Due to the popularity of the Consortia programs, individuals must apply to participate in the program they are interested in. To apply, individuals should click on the relevant link below to submit all application materials and to complete the corresponding registration form. The deadline for submitting all application materials is 11:59 pm ET on June 15, 2025.

Disclosures:

(1) Only active members can register for the Annual Meeting.
(2) Individuals can apply for one consortium only.
(3) Participation in a Consortium will preclude an individual from taking part in any off-site event that is scheduled at the same time.
(4) Pre-doctoral, early-stage, and late-stage consortia participants must attend the SMA Business Meeting, which will be held on the evening of Thursday, October 23, to receive their stipend.
