The College of Business seeks applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Management (tenure-track) position beginning fall 2023. Appointment and title are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Successful applicants must possess a doctoral degree in Management or Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources or related field. Candidates who are ABD will also be considered.
Responsibilities include teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as engaging in scholarly research and academic and professional service.The teaching assignments will include specialized HR courses such as staffing, compensation, international HR, labor relations, and talent development.
The preferred candidate will demonstrate experience teaching and mentoring a diverse group of students. They should also be able to contribute to fostering diversity of the campus, curriculum discipline, or department.
While the home location will be the Denton campus, teaching may occasionally be required at the Houston or Dallas campuses and may include online or hybrid delivery formats. The College of Business has 961 undergraduate students and 1488 graduate students, with many of our students being first-generation college students.
