The fourth annual Academic Leadership Consortium hosted by the Southern Management Association (SMA), will be held in St. Pete Beach, Florida on Wednesday October 28, 2026 (see https://smgmt.org/annual-meeting/). The consortium seeks to develop and foster a community of administrators such as department chairs, associate/assistant deans, and deans in SMA-participating institutions. As SMA hopes to learn how to better support faculty administrators, this consortium will feature a speaker panel and the opportunity for engagement with other administrative leaders. The final hour of the consortium will also welcome faculty interested in pursuing administrative leadership roles. 

To apply, individuals should complete the application below. All participants must be current members of the Southern Management Association. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who submit their applications by September 15, 2026.
