Note: Early Bird rates end on September 1, 2025. Full refunds (minus the processing fee) will be issued up until 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Refunds for half the registration rate (minus the processing fee) will be issued up until 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. After October 15, 2025 refunds will not be issued as we will have made commitments to the hotel on this date.

Note that all refunds will be made minus the 2.9%+$0.30 processing fee charged by our Processor. For the full price conference ($400), that fee is $11.90.

2025 Conference Hotel Information

The Annual Meeting of the Southern Management Association will be held from October 22 to October 25, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, SC. The physical address for the hotel is: 220 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601, USA. To see a map of the hotel’s location and to see what is nearby, please click here. Hyatt Regency Greenville offers guests the perfect balance of Southern hospitality and modern amenities. Located in Greenville’s trendy downtown, we’re near the area’s best dining, shopping and entertainment. 

2025 Overflow Hotel Information

Due to unexpected demand, we’ve already had to open our overflow hotel block. Please try the main conference hotel first (see above), but if you cannot reserve your preferred dates, the SpringHill Suites Greenville Downtown is an excellent option. It is only two blocks away from the conference hotel and a very easy walk. Meeting rate is $179 per night (plus taxes and fees). Last day to register at the group rate is September 29, 2025. 

Please follow these instructions to determine if you are an active member of SMA:

  1. Visit https://smgmt.org/login/ and log in with your user account credentials. (If you are already logged into your SMA Account, then click on “Go to My Account” button that can be found in the top right-hand side of the screen.”
  2. Click on the “Check your membership status” button.
  3. Inspect the information displayed in Column 2 (Subscription) and Column 3 (Active) of the table.
  4. If your membership is active, you can proceed to register for the annual conference.
  5. If your membership is inactive/expired, you must renew your membership before you can register for the annual conference.
    • To renew your membership, click on “Renew” button that is displayed on the “Subscriptions” page. After renewing your membership, you can proceed to register for the annual conference.

***If you are new to SMA, please visit https://smgmt.org/register/full-membership/ to become a member. After activating your membership, you can follow the instructions to register for the annual conference. In addition to being able to register for the annual conference, SMA membership grants you full access to all SMA resources, such the Journal of Management and the SMA-CARMA Affiliate Program.***
