Following the virtual brainstorming session information session (Step 1), participants should submit a brief study outline through the link below. The proposal should identify the authorship team and a brief overview of the research question. Authors who are testing a theory should clearly identify the theory they are testing and briefly describe the proposed methodology. Authors who are replicating a study should clearly identify the focal paper and that method of replication (e.g., literal, constructive). Authors should also indicate the invited editorial that identified the gap in the literature worthy of replication and/or theory testing. The proposal outline should be no more than 3-pages including author team information.

After the study outline is submitted and reviewed, participants will be matched by the “SMA JOMSR Guided ‘Pub’ Crawl” Committee with a Scholarly Barback. Matching announcements will be made by email by mid-June, 2025.
